Will Brad Pitt Be On The Chest’s Of New Orleans’ Ladies?
Friday, August 28, 2009
Now there’s a novelty, a Hollywood movie hunk running for politics! Who would have thought it?
Following in the footsteps of other celebrity politicians such as Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura, Brad Pitt is rumored to be under pressure from local residents in The Big Easy to run as mayor for their city when in April 2010 New Orleans will elect a new mayor.
Citizen Pitt has built up quite a fan base among the masses of the Hurricane Katrina devastated city since his, Make It Right charity, which aims to build 150 homes by 2010 in the lower 9th Ward, began work in the area.
Hopefull voters have been seen wearing T-shirts printed with the slogan, “Brad Pitt for Mayor”, but today on the Thursday morning NBC Today show, 45 year old Pitt laughed off the suggestions that he would even consider running for the position saying, “I’m running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform. I don’t have a chance.” And later reiterated, “It’s not what I do best, I don’t have a chance.”
Do we think the man doth protest too much and will Angelina Jolie object to Brad being plastered across every woman’s chest from the 9th ward to the French Quarter?
