Actor Josh Duhamel Hosted Relief Run for Japan Earthquake Victims, Wife Fergie Came Out to Support

Actor Josh Duhamel stepped out for a charity duty by hosting the American Red Cross Youth Run in the morning of March 27 for the victims of this month’s devastating Japan earthquake and tsunami.

The money majorly raised from selling Tokidoki T-shirts for the Sunday’s event held at Santa Monica Beach were all channeled to the American Red Cross’ Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund.
“When I saw some of those images come out of Japan, I’d never seen anything like it.  And we have the ability to put together quickly and do the Youth Run for Japan, that’s the humanity.” Duhamel said to the mic of ET.
Josh’s singer wife Fergie, who turned 36 yesterday, also came out to support hr husband’s 2 miles charity run. When the destructive earthquake hit Japan, Fergie and her band Black Eyed Peas just left the country one week after they finished shot a music video there.
“Leaving there we had such a positive vibe and then this happened,” she told ET. “We were all tripping out that we were just there in Japan. It was just a wonderful chance for us to give a love letter back to Japan.”
After the run, the 38-year-0ld Transformers star tweeted, “We did it! 4,000+ people pack the beach! The youth of LA mobilized & should be proud. All of u that donated should be proud. Much love..
